Therapeutic dentistry is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the teeth, periodontal tissues and oral mucosa.

Treatment of Cavities and Decay
The most common reason for visiting a dentist is “caries” – regular tooth decay and cavities. This is a lesion of the hard tissues of the tooth, which, if left untreated, can lead to the development of inflammatory complications from the pulp and periodontium.
After a thorough diagnosis, two types of restoration are installed to restore teeth - direct, using a filling material, and indirect: ceramic inlays, on-lays.

“Dental Club” always carries out treatment using special optical magnifiers: the Leica dental microscope and Carl Zeiss binoculars.
For direct restorations and treatment, the best German filling materials from Ivoclar are used. High-quality instruments from LM (Finland) allow us to achieve a highly aesthetic result that is indistinguishable from a natural tooth.
Inlays and on-lays are made in our laboratory from materials such as zirconium oxide, IPS, E-max, ceramics. Secondary decay or new cavity usually does not occur under such restorations. They will last much longer than normal fillings.
Stages of caries treatment (fillings)
- Anaesthesia.
- Installation of an insulating cofferdam.
- Preparation of the process and removal of any old restorations.
- Restoration of the tooth shape using filling materials.
- Grinding and polishing the filling.
Treatment Stages (inlay)
1st Visit
- Anaesthesia
- Preparation of the process and removal of any old restorations.
- Taking an impression.
- Making a temporary filling.
- Grinding and polishing the temporary filling.
2nd Visit
- Anaesthesia.
- Removing the temporary filling.
- Processing the inlay and tooth cavity.
- Fixing the inlay with composite cement.
- Grinding and polishing.

Pulpitis treatment
Pulpitis is an inflammation of the pulp of the tooth, which most often occurs as a complication of tooth decay. Its treatment consists of mechanical removal of the soft tissue inside the root of the tooth and its filling.
At Dental Club, treatment is carried out according to European protocols. The quality of treatment is ensured by image magnification with Leica microscopes or Carl Zeiss binoculars. We use ultra-flexible nickel-titanium Dentsply instruments for the passage and shaping of the canal. Repeated use of the instrument can break it and damage the tooth, leaving behind a splinter inside. This is why we only use them once.
For filling the canals in our arsenal are the most modern methods, such as: lateral condensation, hot gutapercha, etc. as indicated. And also to avoid infection inside the canal pulpitis treatment is carried out after installation of cofferdam - isolation of the tooth from the oral cavity.
After depulping we strongly recommend to close the tooth with a crown
Stages of pulpitis treatment
- Anesthesia
- Cofferdam placement
- Preparation of carious process and removal of old restorations
- Depulping of the tooth
- Medical treatment and enlargement of the canal.
- Canal obturation (filling)
- Tooth restoration
- Grinding and polishing

Direct tooth restoration | 40,000 KZT |
Zirconium inlay | 130,000 KZT |
Use of a microscope | 16,000 KZT |
The materials for these two types of restorations differ in density and manufacturing accuracy. Direct restoration of a tooth is associated with the difficulty of isolating it from moisture, which can lead to the filling falling out. They also differ in the difficulty of modelling the shape of the tooth in the oral cavity.
Inlays are made individually in our laboratory and are a more accurate and reliable method for restoring the shape of a tooth.
Tooth restoration with a filling is designed for five to seven years, although, if made well, it can last longer.
A ceramic inlay, if made correctly, practically does not change shape and colour, and secondary decay usually does not form under it. This process does not require a separate visit for a professional examination.
- To prevent these occurring, you need to regularly undergo professional examinations at least once every six months and carry out a regime of professional oral hygiene.
- At home, you need to brush your teeth correctly, using the recommended brushes and pastes, as well as floss. At the first signs of decay - contact a specialist.
Due to the quality pulpitis treatment, such a tooth can last as long as a healthy tooth. The structure of enamel after depulpation changes, closing the tooth with a crown guarantees a longer-term favorable prognosis.
In some cases: if the patient's general immunity is reduced or if the canals are difficult to curve, complications may arise.
It depends on the form of inflammation. Acute pulpitis has acute symptoms. Unbearable night pain subsides only in the morning and anesthetics practically do not help. Chronic pulpitis is characterized by unexpressed symptoms: the pain is aching, intensified by temperature stimuli. Despite the fact that anesthetics in this case dull the pain, you should still see a doctor. Chronic pulpitis is often asymptomatic.
