Dental implantation is an operation to place implants as a support for prosthetic fixtures. Implantation can be accomplished in various ways: instant implantation (implant placement immediately after tooth extraction); one-stage (implant placement and fixation of a temporary crown to it) and two-stage (implant placement, engraftment stage and subsequent prosthetics).

At “Dental Club”, we use programmed dentistry. To avoid inaccuracies, operations are planned in digital format. First of all, we take a 3D image, scan the patient's mouth and teeth and then place the implants according to and in the visualisation. Via the “Romexis” dental software programme, we model a surgical template according to which the implant is installed. The placement of one implant subsequently does not require any incisions and takes no more than 10 minutes.

At Dental Club, we use premium implants from European and American manufacturers: Nobel Biocare (USA-Switzerland), BioHorizons (USA), MIS (Israel). Such implants differ in composition (degree of purification of titanium, surface coating) and patented shape and thread. They have advanced orthopaedic features and a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

Implant surgery in our clinic is performed in a specialized operating room equipped with the most modern equipment.
Stages of Digital Implantation:
- Diagnostics and planning: 3D imagery, scanning of the tooth model, production of a surgical guide. Extraction of a destroyed tooth (in case of simultaneous implantation).
- Placement of an implant, gum former or temporary crown.
- Recommendations for the installation of permanent prosthetic structures after a maximum of 2 months (if indicated).

No, it will not hurt, since we use modern European protocols for implant placement, we use the best anaesthetics. After the operation, we prescribe an anti-inflammatory routine, and if necessary, an antibiotic. In 90% of cases, the pain effect is relieved by one tablet and disappears in one day. The advantage of single-stage implantation is that two tasks are performed in one operation: tooth extraction and implant replacement.
- Yes, such a practice is possible, it is called instant implantation. But specific circumstances for each patient have to be considered.. In case of problems with e.g. a decayed tooth, it will be better to wait and place the implant in healthy tissue.
The most important thing in implant prosthetics is that factory specific-tailored components are used. An abutment is the link between the implant and the crown. And the crowns themselves are made individually for each patient, as a rule, from zirconium oxide.
